Mumbai Indians have signed South African all-rounder Corbin Bosch as Lizaad Williams’ replacement for IPL 2025. Williams will miss the tournament due to a knee injury. He had also skipped SA20 2024 with the same issue and hasn’t fully recovered. Mumbai Indians had picked him up for INR 75 Lakh at the auction.

Bosch, who went unsold in the IPL 2025 auction, now joins a familiar setup. He played for MI Cape Town in SA20 2024, where he took 11 wickets in eight matches. His best performance came against Sunrisers Eastern Cape, with figures of 4 for 19.

This is not his first IPL stint. Rajasthan Royals had previously signed him as a replacement for Nathan Coulter-Nile after he started as a net bowler. However, he hasn’t played a game in the league yet.

Bosch made his Test debut against Pakistan in December 2024. Just days before, he had earned his first ODI cap against the same team. He also replaced Anrich Nortje in South Africa’s Champions Trophy 2025 squad.

With Bosch in the squad, Mumbai Indians have added a promising all-rounder to strengthen their bowling attack for IPL 2025.
