Nagpur, February 6 – India showcased an impressive all-round display to secure a convincing four-wicket victory over England in the first One-Day International (ODI) at Nagpur. Contributions from Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, and Axar Patel, alongside a disciplined bowling performance, helped the hosts chase down England’s total with 68 balls to spare.

Bowlers and Fielders Set the Tone

Opting to bat first, England faced a challenging start on a two-paced pitch. India handed debut caps to Yashasvi Jaiswal and Harshit Rana, the latter experiencing a rollercoaster debut.
