He came out with fearless intent and smashed 39 runs off just 11 balls. Notably, his explosive knock included 3 fours and 4 sixes.

As a result, Punjab Kings raced ahead in the powerplay and immediately put CSK under pressure.

After Arya’s dismissal, Prabhsimran Singh continued the momentum with 43 off 34 balls.

Meanwhile, Cooper Connolly played a fluent knock of 36 from 22 balls, ensuring the required rate stayed within reach.

Then, captain Shreyas Iyer led from the front with a superb 50 off 29 balls. Furthermore, his innings came at the perfect time and kept the chase under control.

💥 Iyer and Arya lead the win

The chase was built on Priyansh Arya’s explosive start and Shreyas Iyer’s composed finish.

Moreover, PBKS’s middle order showed strong depth and calmness under pressure.

In the end, Shashank Singh and Marcus Stoinis finished the chase comfortably with 8 balls to spare.

On the other hand, CSK’s bowling attack failed to build pressure in the middle overs.
