Saint Lucia Kings dominate with the ball 🎯

TKR had a horror start when Colin Munro fell second ball to Khary Pierre. Darren Bravo played two big shots but miscued to fine leg. Nicholas Pooran enjoyed early luck before lifting momentum with two sixes off David Wiese. The relief was short-lived as Alex Hales fell on the last ball of the PowerPlay, leaving TKR reeling.

Tabraiz Shamsi struck right away, removing Akeal Hosein for a golden duck. With the pitch offering grip and bounce, Roston Chase soon dismissed Pooran. Shamsi returned to bowl Andre Russell with a ripper and later removed Kieron Pollard. At 82/6, the Knight Riders were in deep trouble. Terrence Hinds and Nathan Edwards offered brief resistance, but Delano Potgieter’s double strike and Alzarri Joseph’s late wicket ended the innings at 109 in 18.1 overs.
