Southern Brave clinched a thrilling 4-run victory over Welsh Fire in the final league clash of The Hundred 2025. Jason Roy smashed 70 runs and Craig Overton produced a superb all-round display to lift Brave to fourth place, while Fire finished bottom of the table.

Welsh Fire opted to bowl first and struck early as Brave’s top order collapsed. But Jason Roy counterattacked, launching sixes off Saif Zaib and Riley Meredith.
He raced to his first fifty of the season, hammering 70 runs with style. After his dismissal sparked a mini-collapse at 129/7, Overton and Jordan Thompson added late power to carry Brave to 167/7 in 100 balls.

Defending 167, Craig Overton delivered in the opening set, removing Stephen Eskinazi and Steve Smith before sending Jonny Bairstow back for just 5. Fire slumped to 51/4.
Tom Kohler-Cadmore (84) and Ben Kellaway revived the chase with an 81-run stand, blasting boundaries and sixes to shift momentum. Kohler-Cadmore especially punished James Coles with back-to-back maximums.
