Saif Hasan returns to the Bangladesh T20I squad after a gap of one and a half years, while wicketkeeper-batter Nurul Hasan makes a comeback after three years. Nurul last played a T20I during the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia in November 2022, whereas Saif was last seen at the Asian Games 2023.

Moreover, both players earned their recalls through strong performances in domestic cricket. Additionally, Nurul recently featured for the Bangladesh A team, which further strengthened his case. Their inclusion significantly boosts Bangladesh’s squad ahead of the three-match T20I series against the Netherlands, starting August 30 in Sylhet.
