🔹 James Anderson’s T20 Comeback Shines

After a long absence from T20s, James Anderson made a stunning return with Lancashire Lightning in the T20 Blast 2025. Impressively, he picked up 14 wickets in 8 matches, including a memorable 3-wicket haul on debut.

Because of this performance, Anderson drew attention across the cricketing world. In fact, his consistency and control reminded fans why he’s considered a modern legend.

“The Hundred is fresh, exciting, and brings in young fans. I’m thrilled to be part of it,” Anderson said.

🔹 James Anderson Headlines Wildcard Draft

This year, the ECB introduced a wildcard draft, allowing each team to add two players who were unsold in the main draft. Not surprisingly, James Anderson was one of the most talked-about selections.

In addition to Anderson, Manchester Originals picked Marchant de Lange, a fiery pacer with prior Hundred experience. Together, they add depth and firepower to the bowling unit.

🔹 Rocky Flintoff Joins the Superchargers

Meanwhile, Northern Superchargers selected Rocky Flintoff, the 17-year-old son of former England great Andrew Flintoff. Although Rocky has yet to feature in a T20 match, his recent U-19 performances caught the eye.

For example, he scored a brilliant century and a gritty 93 against India U-19. Consequently, he was fast-tracked into The Hundred setup, showcasing the tournament’s commitment to future stars.
