✍️ Yuzvendra Chahal The Punjab Kings Hero

Yuzvendra Chahal delivered a spectacular performance with the ball as Punjab Kings secured a remarkable 16-run victory over Kolkata Knight Riders. Despite posting a modest total of just 111 — the lowest total ever defended in IPL history — Punjab Kings pulled off a stunning win, propelling them to fourth place in the standings. In doing so, they proved that anything can happen in the IPL.

📌 Where Was the Match Won?

The game turned decisively in the middle overs, when both teams faced dramatic collapses after promising starts. At first, PBKS looked comfortable with a solid opening partnership. However, a swift collapse saw them lose 8 wickets for just 47 runs between overs 3-11. Meanwhile, KKR appeared to be in control at 60/2, needing just four an over. But a collapse saw them lose 6 wickets for a mere 19 runs, drastically shifting the game in PBKS’s favor. Thanks to Chahal, who came into the attack and bowled a masterclass, the match was in Punjab’s hands. Thus, the middle overs became the key phase where PBKS capitalized on their momentum.
