Stuart Law Takes Charge of Nepal Cricket
Nepal Cricket has entered a new phase with Stuart Law stepping in as head coach. The former Australian cricketer takes over on a two-year contract, succeeding Monty Desai, who helped Nepal secure a T20 World Cup spot.
A Coach with Global Experience
Law has worked with teams like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, West Indies, and Afghanistan. His most recent role was with the USA cricket team, where his tenure lasted seven months.
Nepal’s Challenge in ICC Cricket World Cup League 2
His first major task will be the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 tri-series in June, where Nepal will take on Scotland and the Netherlands. The team has won only two of its 12 matches in the tournament so far.
Law’s Cricketing Background and Arrival in Nepal
A former Australian international, Law played one Test and 54 ODIs. He is set to arrive in Nepal next week to officially begin his tenure.
