Noor Ahmad & Michael Bracewell Secure Big Deals in The Hundred 2025
Afghanistan’s spin sensation Noor Ahmad and New Zealand’s T20I captain Michael Bracewell landed GBP 200,000 contracts in The Hundred 2025 draft on March 12. Ahmad joined Manchester Originals, while Bracewell signed with Southern Brave, last season’s runner.

Several star cricketers secured deals. Georgia Voll, fresh from an unbeaten 99 in the Women’s Premier League, joined Birmingham Phoenix. Meanwhile, Jamie Overton and veteran Australian opener David Warner signed with London Spirit for GBP 200,000 and GBP 120,000, respectively. Notably, Warner, who went undrafted last year, will make his Hundred debut this season.
In addition, England all-rounder David Willey joined Trent Rockets for GBP 200,000, while New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra moved to Manchester Originals for GBP 120,000. Furthermore, Oval Invincibles retained Paige Scholfield for GBP 65,000 in the women’s draft.
