Former Indian cricket legend and ex-Team India head coach Rahul Dravid was involved in a minor road accident in Bengaluru on Tuesday evening. A viral video circulating on social media captured Dravid engaged in a heated discussion with an auto-rickshaw driver after the collision on Cunningham Road. The argument took place in Kannada, his native language.
Details of the Incident
As per reports, Dravid’s car was struck by a goods auto from behind while stuck in traffic near Indian Express Junction on the way to High Grounds. The collision led to a verbal exchange between Dravid and the auto driver, with words related to brakes being overheard in the video. It remains unclear whether Dravid himself was driving the vehicle.
According to Deccan Herald, the incident occurred around 6:30 PM, and no injuries were reported. Dravid reportedly took down the auto driver’s phone number and registration details before leaving the scene. No police case has been filed regarding the accident.
