Travis Head has been crowned the Allan Border Medal winner for the first time at the 2025 Australian Cricket Awards . The star batter amassed 208 votes , finishing comfortably ahead of Josh Hazlewood (158 votes) and Pat Cummins (147 votes)

Head enjoyed a stellar year across all three formats, accumulating 1,427 runs and registering four centuries . His remarkable performances also earned him the Men’s ODI Player of Year award, edging past wicketkeeper Alex Carey.

In the women’s category, Annabel Sutherland secured her first-ever Belinda Claek Award , capping off an incredible year. She made headlines with a century in the one-off Ashes Test against England and a stunning 210- run knock against South Africa in a Test match last season. Overall, she amased 798 runs at an average of 46.94 and bagged 34 wicket across formats.

Sutherland edged out Ashleigh Garden and Beth Mooney for the top honor. Gardner , named the Women’s ODI Player of the Year ,delivered a brilliant all-round performance with 385 runs and 23 wickets. Meanwhile, Mooney took home the Women’s T20I Player of the Year award after scoring 618 runs in T20Is at an impressive average of 47.53 with a strike rate of 129.83, the shortest format.

Josh Hazlewood clinched the Shane Warne Test Player of the year award after taking 30 Test wickets at a phenomenal average of 13.17.

The BBL Player of the Tournament award was jointly won by Glenn Maxwell and Cooper Connolly , both showcasing exceptional performances throughout the season. In the WBBL, the honor was shared between Ellyse Perry and Jess Jonassen.
