Bennett’s Masterclass Anchors Zimbabwe’s Innings
Opening the batting, Bennett displayed immense class and resilience, crafting a magnificent 163-ball innings that featured 20 fours and three sixes. He built crucial partnerships, adding 95 runs with Ben Curran and a solid 136-run stand with skipper Craig Ervine (66) for the first two wickets.

Ireland’s Chase Falters Despite a Fighting Effort
Chasing 300, Ireland had a nightmare start, losing Andrew Balbirnie off the very first ball. However, Paul Stirling and Curtis Campher injected momentum into the innings with a quickfire 55-run stand off just 41 balls.
Despite multiple batters getting starts, none managed to convert it into a significant score, with Campher’s 44 being the highest. Zimbabwe’s pacers were instrumental in sealing the win, with Blessing Muzarabani picking up 4/51 and Richard Ngarava claiming 3/56.
