With a distinguished career in law enforcement, Munawar previously served in the high-risk Swat region as part of the Frontier Constabulary. She successfully transitioned into administrative and security roles after passing the Civil Superior Services exam. Her appointment has generated significant interest among cricket fans, analysts, and the media.

While senior retired bureaucrat Naveed Akram Cheema will continue as the primary team manager, Munawar’s inclusion is expected to enhance operational efficiency within the team and improve coordination between players and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
